Just 15 minutes from the market, terraces, restaurants and shops of Le Palais, Camping de l’Océan offers you all the amenities of a dynamic town centre while enjoying the tranquillity of a privileged natural setting.

We are less than 30 minutes’ walk from La Ramonette beach. You can enjoy the fine sand and crystal clear waters of Belliloise that have made it famous.

80 metres from the campsite, you can catch two bus lines crisscrossing the island at the Les Cars Bleus bus stop, and the central station is 15 minutes away on the third line.

  • For our hiking enthusiasts, you can embark on star-shaped hikes to various points along the GR 34 trail. This 82 km coastal trail goes around the island, offering breath-taking panoramas.
  • For our cycling enthusiasts, many dedicated circuits are accessible on the island from our campsite.
  • For our surfing enthusiasts, you can set off from the campsite for the surf spots.

Our entire team will advise you on the best routes and spots to have an invigorating holiday and make the most of the island’s treasures.

Disconnect at Camping de l’Océan

At Camping de l’Océan, your nights will be punctuated by wind rustling in the pines, and birds singing. You can have lunch in the shade of our century-old trees and enjoy this green environment for a truly nature-oriented holiday.

Unusual and varied activities will also be offered in season to make your stay even more unforgettable. For example, the arrival of Elsa and her donkeys Oscar and Petronia to introduce children to these loyal and endearing animals. Relax during a yoga class by our heated and sunny pool.

Deliberately, there are no televisions in our accommodations. We provide a selection of board games and books for your enjoyment.

A campsite committed to nature conservation

Concerned about our environment and the many riches on Belle-Ile, we are committed to the environment. Being located on a Natura 2000 area, our responsibility is to preserve this natural area. This is why we have decided to take our involvement a step further, and we have committed to the League for the Protection of Birds (LPO), becoming an LPO refuge.

In addition, besides sorting the waste, a compost system has been installed to reduce the amount of waste produced on the campsite as much as possible.

We want to encourage car-free mobility and develop unique accommodation for better immersion in nature. We have gradually replaced all plastic outdoor furniture with new wooden ones.

We participate in the Time For The Planet (TFTP) commitment process.
